My daughters had the amazing opportunity to take organ lessons with Dr. John Schwandt through the Ohio ACE program this summer. They had taken piano previously, but the organ was a totally new experience. Dr. J.S. taught them so much about the organ--background information as well as introducing them to playing! He was down-to-earth and welcoming, patient and encouraging while continuing to challenge them at their own levels. He is extremely talented and works with other highly accomplished organ professionals across the country, yet celebrated my children's little steps of progress with pride. We are very blessed to have Dr. J.S. and the American Organ Academy right here in Northeast Ohio! I highly recommend Dr. J.S. and the AOA introduce children to this beautiful instrument!
